Born and raised in the Rockies, Jeff grew up playing music in local bands in his home town of Denver, Colorado. Jeff studied music business, recording and production in college and received a degree in production, engineering and music business.
In his thirst to see just how deep his talent went, He made the move to Los Angeles to work at the Legendary Westlake Recording Studios, where he eventually became a senior staff engineer.
Over the years, Jeff has worked on giant projects for artists such as Madonna, No Doubt, Maroon 5, Kelly Clarkson, Staind, Limp Bizkit, Sting, Shelia E and many more. He has also worked hand in hand with legendary producers like Tim Palmer (U2, Pearl Jam, Tears for Fears), Don Was (Rolling Stones, Bonnie Raitt), Randy Jackson (Mariah Carey, American Idol) and Josh Abraham (30 Seconds To Mars, Staind, Orgy, Velvet Revolver). Jeff’s time at Westlake was spent learning from the best in the business. All that valuable experience is now paying off on the records that Jeff makes!
In 2005, Jeff decided to leave Westlake and is now a freelance producer, mixer and engineer. As of 2011, Jeff has now relocated back to his hometown of Denver and continues to make great records at Silo Sound Studios!
